A. Job Challenged, a Lesson in Sovereignty
	
	Introduction:
	






	1. It is God and God alone who gives mankind rain; it is God alone who gives man saving grace






	2. It is God alone who Òcuts a channel for the torrents of rainÓ v25 so that the life-giving water can reach the parched land; And it is only God who finds the way for grace to come to men.






	3. We are all subject to the Sovereign Dispensing of GodÕs grace:

		a. You and I cannot command grace!









		b. Grace comes to us without our cooperation, as a creative act of GodÕs Sovereign power

			1)  Where Òno man livesÓ [is alive]



		

			2)  Where there is the greatest need





			3) Where there is nothing in us to repay
